Its hard to comment on this for me even three months after taking these shots. For now I’ll post the shots because they say so much more than I can.
Today marks the 10th anniversary of the attack on the World Trade Towers, when thousands lost their lives in one of the worst terrorist attacks in history.

Over one month on and the city of Inashiki in Ibaraki Prefecture still shows signs of damage caused by the power of the earthquake. Some days just have light that you wish would last forever. Even when I don’t have my camera on me I still have to stop and stare when I see a spot lit up with a little afternoon magic.

While the areas surrounding Tokyo were largely unaffected by the intial destruction, the reprecussions have been and continue to be felt weeks after the event.
